Who we are

This site is run by HI Studio (Daniel Philip), [HI Studio postal address (required for CAN-SPAM + giveaway sponsor)]. Contact: [hello@your-domain.com]. “Laura” is an AI persona operated by HI Studio.

What we collect

  • Email signup: first name, email, signup source, consent time and consent wording version, and referral code.
  • SMS (optional): mobile number, SMS consent time and wording.
  • Giveaway: first name, email, referral code and who referred you.
  • Purchases: email and order details. Card details are processed by Stripe and never touch our servers.
  • Quest progress: stored only in your browser’s local storage. We don’t receive it.
  • Technical: standard request logs from our host (Cloudflare), such as IP address and user agent, for security.

Why we use it (legal bases)

  • To send the emails/texts you asked for (consent; double opt-in for email).
  • To deliver the course and receipts you bought (contract).
  • To run the giveaway (contract/legitimate interest).
  • To remind you once about an unfinished checkout, only if you ticked the box or opted in at Stripe (consent).
  • To keep the site secure (legitimate interest).

Processors

Cloudflare (hosting), Brevo (email/SMS), Stripe (payments) [add course platform, analytics if any]. They process data on our instructions under their own data-processing terms. Data may be processed outside your country with appropriate safeguards.

Email tracking

Our emails may contain click tracking so we know which links work and to power your optional streak. You can ignore the streak; it’s just for fun.

Your choices and rights

Unsubscribe from any email with one click, reply STOP to texts, and email us to access, correct, export or delete your data. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Retention

We keep subscriber data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, giveaway data for [12 months] after the draw, and purchase records as long as tax law requires.

Children

This site isn’t for anyone under 16 (18 for the giveaway and SMS), and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

Cookies

We don’t set advertising cookies. Local storage is used only for your quest progress. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout page.
